Coaching with Laura has been pretty life-changing for me. I was initially very unsure about what the benefits of health coaching would be (or even what it was!) but lockdown prompted me to think more about my eating, exercise and lifestyle and Laura’s coaching helped me establish new routines and habits. Unlike my previous patterns of yo-yo dieting and weight loss/gain, the changes I have made feel sustainable for the long term and most importantly, I am actually enjoying them and for the first time in a long time, I feel comfortable in my own skin. Before I started my health coaching programme with Laura I was in a bit of a rut. I didn’t feel great about myself and I couldn’t quite figure out how to change my mindset. I knew what I needed to put into my body & how to move it to feel better but I just couldn’t get myself into a place to get started… Enter the wonderful Laura. This wasn’t a programme about dieting or exercise, it was all about figuring out how to be kinder to myself – mentally & physically. We set goals at the beginning of the programme for me to work on and checked in on them throughout, altering them as we went depending on whether I had achieved them quickly, or if actually, they felt like too big a step at that moment. I have to say doing the health coaching with Laura was one of the best things I did for myself in 2019. She made it really easy to open up to her & I completely trusted her expertise. I ended the year feeling more confident in myself & gained a better understanding of my body & gut health. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone thinking about trying out a health coach.
